The FC Barcelona<\/strong> took another step towards the LaLiga title after dominating Girona in Montju\u00efc (4-1)<\/a>. The Catalans overwhelmed their rivals from the first minute and, once again, Ferran Torres<\/strong> left his mark on the match. The ‘Shark’ entered the field in the 67th minute and needed just over 20 minutes to score for the third consecutive match and seal the victory for the cul\u00e9s.<\/p>

The blue and garnet ‘7’ completed the ‘thrashing’ of the albirrojos as the match was coming to an end. The forward controlled a cross from Gerard Mart\u00edn<\/strong> with his right foot and smashed the ball into the net of Gazzaniga<\/strong> with a spectacular left-footed shot to tally his fifteenth goal of the season, the ninth in LaLiga, and continue to establish himself as the ‘super substitute’ of Hansi Flick<\/strong>.<\/p>

Ferran, the ‘lethal weapon’ of Bar\u00e7a from the bench<\/h2>

Of the 15 goals he has celebrated this season, 9 have come from coming off the bench (60%)<\/strong>. These nine goals are distributed across six in LaLiga (Valladolid, Betis, Las Palmas, Girona, and Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid x2), two in the Champions League (Borussia Dortmund x2), and one in the Copa del Rey (Real Betis). The remaining 6 goals have been scored as a starter (a ‘hat-trick’ against Valencia in the Cup and three more against Mallorca, Osasuna, and Valencia in the League).<\/p>
