\r\n \r\n \r\n Calendar of FC Barcelona <\/a>\r\n<\/div>

Juan Carlos Unzu\u00e9,<\/strong> ex player of the FC Barcelona<\/strong> and later worker of the club in several charges of the technical area, chose the auditorium of the Camp Nou<\/strong> to announce that, to his 53 years, suffers Lateral Sclerosis Amiotr\u00f3fica, more known like ELA. It did it in a press conference accompanied of Luis Enrique, Eusebio Sacrist\u00e1n,<\/strong> the Barcelona Managerial<\/strong> Board, of some players<\/a> like Sergio Roberto, Jordi Alba<\/strong> or Gerard Hammered<\/strong> and of Quique Seti\u00e9n<\/strong>.<\/p>

Accompanied also by the Doctor Povedano and the Dorcor Rojas, explained that it is ill and appreciated the assistance to the act.<\/strong> “I have summoned you because I want to make public my state of health. The past month of February the Dr. Povedano confirmed the diagnose that the past summer had given me the Dr. Rojas. I suffer Lateral Sclerosis Amiotr\u00f3fica, more known like ELA. In my case is affecting to my extremities, arms, hands and legs of asymmetric form. To day of today there is not treatment neither cure, except some tablets that to the majority of the patients helps us to ralentizar the progression of the illness”, explained.<\/p>

“The life is worth it, even when it seems that it is derrumbando”<\/p> <\/blockquote>

Also it explained the reasons by which makes public his illness.<\/strong> “Have two reasons. One is that to the majority of friends and known enteren through listening me in a radio or in a television and remain calmer. Can ensure you that I get along it. That am strong mentally to coexist with this illness and seat me a privileged by what the life has given me until this moment. But also giving gone back to the possibilities of what can do in relation to this illness that seem invisible worse that are here”, said.<\/p>

His second reason was to announce that it would leave to train.<\/strong> “The second reason that is to say that, taking advantage of that they are here the means, and after seeing these months the little visibility that has the ELA, the difficulties of the patients to live dignamente and the fault of resources, my aim does not go to be train to a team, my stage like trainer has finalised. It regretted also that the illness that suffers affects to big quantity of people.<\/strong> “I go to have alas a lot of mates and mates. We are some 4.000 in this country and the market of signings has a lot of movement because each day add 3 new faces to the team but alas each day lose 3 mates owing to the ELA”, stood out.<\/p>

Foundation to combat the ELA<\/h3>

Besides, Unzu\u00e9 explained the project of his foundation devoted to the patients of ELA.<\/strong> “I will try with the Foundation Luzon in improving the quality of life of the patients of ELA and will treat to achieve economic resources for the investigation and to find a treatment that stop this illness and that in a future no very far find a solution that cure it”, manifested.<\/p>

The ex technician of the FC Barcelona<\/a> encouraged also to commemorate the day of the ELA, that will be this same month of June.<\/strong> “I remember you that on 21 June it is the World-wide Day of the ELA.
