FC Barcelona increased the value of its squad by \u20ac190 million. No other club saw a similar increase in the market in the 2024\/25 season<\/h2> \r\n

FC Barcelona<\/a> was the club whose squad value increased the most in the 2024\/25 season. The good results achieved by Hansi Flick’s<\/a> team allowed Bar\u00e7a to increase the squad’s value by 190 million euros<\/strong>, going from \u20ac880 million in June 2024 to \u20ac1.07 billion this year.<\/p>

Despite the economic power of Paris Saint-Germain<\/a>, the Blaugrana side’s current valuation is \u20ac10 million higher<\/strong> than that of the reigning Champions League champion (\u20ac1.06 billion), according to figures from Transfermarkt.<\/p>

Along with Bar\u00e7a and PSG, only four other clubs surpass the \u20ac1 billion barrier in their squad values. Real Madrid<\/a> leads the market with a total of \u20ac1.3 billion, followed by Manchester City<\/a>, with \u20ac1.32 billion.<\/p>

The podium is completed by Arsenal<\/a>, with a current value of \u20ac1.09 billion, \u20ac20 million more than Barcelona. Interestingly, two of the four most valuable clubs today are not competing in the World Cup organized by FIFA.<\/p>

Chelsea<\/a> completes the list of clubs exceeding the \u20ac1 billion mark, with an identical valuation to Paris (\u20ac1.06 billion). However, Luis Enrique’s side are the only ones, along with Bar\u00e7a, to appear among the teams with the largest increase in their squad’s value.<\/p>

Manchester United<\/a>, on the other hand, was the club whose valuation dropped the most in 24\/25<\/strong>, losing \u20ac214 million in value. They are followed by AC Milan (\u20ac213M) and, surprisingly, the Serie A champion, Napoli<\/a> (\u20ac156M), due to the departure of Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.<\/p>

Bar\u00e7a, the team with the biggest value increase in 24\/25<\/h2>

While Barcelona’s squad value increased by 190 million euros, PSG also improved its Transfermarkt valuation by 176 million. The top three is completed by Sporting CP<\/strong>, which, after winning the Portuguese league and cup, increased its value by \u20ac118M, reaching a total of \u20ac511 million.<\/p>

Further back are Eintracht Frankfurt<\/strong>, with a rise of 107 million to reach a total of \u20ac355M, and Como<\/strong>, the great revelation of Serie A. Cesc F\u00e0bregas’ team is now worth \u20ac188M thanks to an increase of 82 million.<\/p>

However, the squad of Bar\u00e7a’s next opponent in the Joan Gamper Trophy does not even reach the value of Lamine Yamal (\u20ac200M)<\/strong>, currently the most valuable player on the planet.<\/p>

Bar\u00e7a’s squad value will continue to increase after the summer transfer window<\/h2>

While waiting to finalize the signing of Nico Williams<\/a>, Bar\u00e7a has the potential to increase its squad’s market value after the summer transfer window closes.<\/p>

The club does not anticipate the departure of any of its key players and, on the contrary, may bring in Athletic Club’s ‘number 10’, who is currently valued at around 70 million<\/strong> on Transfermarkt.<\/p>

The first signing of the summer window, Joan Garc\u00eda<\/a>, is worth 25 million euros<\/strong>, exactly the price of his release clause. Nico, on the other hand, will arrive for \u20ac12M less than his current value.<\/p>

The other signing the club is working on is Roony Bardghji, who is currently worth 7.5 million<\/strong>. The Swedish winger will also arrive for a lower price (\u20ac2M) from Copenhagen.<\/p>
