FC Barcelona has withdrawn the captaincy from Marc-Andr\u00e9 ter Stegen<\/a> due to the opening of disciplinary proceedings.<\/strong> However, this would not imply that the German goalkeeper cannot become captain of the Blaugrana team again, as it would be a temporary process.<\/strong><\/p>

The reason why the process is considered temporary lies in the nature of the file: it is an open and ongoing investigation. Being “alive”, it allows the player to present allegations against the club’s decision, according to Mundo Deportivo<\/em>. <\/p>

It should be noted that the file may result in a specific sanction or, on the contrary, in the dismissal of the goalkeeper.
