The FC Barcelona squad<\/a> returned to work on Monday after the Christmas break with only three players on the injury list, not counting Pedri Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> (out as a precaution against Villarreal) and Ronald Araujo<\/strong>, who has been sidelined for the past month due to low morale. Only Dani Olmo<\/strong>, Andreas Christensen<\/strong>, and Pablo Gavi<\/strong> remain in the infirmary<\/p>

Of the three, only the Andalusian midfielder and the Danish center-back are long-term absentees. However, injuries have been the biggest headache for Bar\u00e7a in the first half of the 2025\/26 season, where Hansi Flick’s team has played 25 official matches, including 18 league games, 6 Champions League games, and 1 Copa del Rey tie.<\/p>

In total, the first-team players have suffered 20 muscle injuries in the first four months of the season. **17 footballers have suffered some muscular setback**, while another 4 missed some matches due to health problems (fever, gastroenteritis, colds…).<\/p>

Gavi<\/a> <\/strong>has been the second player to miss the most matches so far (18) due to a right meniscus injury that required surgery. Ter Stegen<\/a><\/strong> also had back surgery in July and missed the first 22 matches of 25\/26.<\/p>

Christensen<\/a><\/strong>, for his part, risks missing the rest of the season due to a partial cruciate ligament tear, although there is no exact prognosis for now because the Dane prefers to undergo conservative treatment<\/p>

**Raphinha**, on the other hand, was out for two months with a right thigh injury from which he relapsed. **Pedri**, **Robert Lewandowski**, and **Dani Olmo** have each suffered two injuries, none of them serious so far, although the ‘8’ and the ’20’ were sidelined for a month as part of their recovery.<\/p>

Eric Garc\u00eda, the only one capable of playing every match in 25\/26<\/h2>

This is the case of **Eric Garc\u00eda**, **Pau Cubars\u00ed**, **Gerard Mart\u00edn**, **Jules Kound\u00e9**, and **Roony Bardghji**. The Frenchman left the match against Villarreal (0-2) with some hamstring discomfort, but on Monday he trained normally at the Johan Cruyff Stadium and will be available next Saturday against Espanyol.<\/p>

Eric, for his part, is the only player who has seen minutes in all 25 of Barcelona’s matches this season. **The Martorell native was only a substitute on three occasions and has accumulated 1,927 minutes of action** (team leader). Cubars\u00ed, on the other hand, was rested in four league matchdays and completes the podium of minutes played alongside Kound\u00e9.<\/p>
