One of the topics that has generated the most uncertainty around the name of Andreas Christensen<\/strong> currently, curiously, does not necessarily have to do with his future at the institution<\/a>, which is usually a subject of debate on the eve of each transfer window. This time, the uncertainty around the Danish player focuses more on his current physical condition<\/strong>, a matter that has evolved from a mere doubt to a genuine concern.<\/p>

It is worth remembering that Andreas Christensen<\/strong> suffered an injury on August 24th, which was diagnosed as tendinopathy in the Achilles tendon of his left leg<\/strong>. Initially considered a minor setback that would not require much recovery time, with an estimated maximum of two months off in the worst-case scenario.<\/p>

However, after a more thorough evaluation, it was determined that the Danish player’s recovery period would be approximately between three and four months<\/strong>. Although this timeline seems to be on track, it still raises some uncertainty about his current status.<\/p>

When could Andreas Christensen be returning from his injury?<\/h3>

As of today, 50 days have passed since his injury (about a month and some weeks), and there are no clear indications that Andreas Christensen<\/strong> could rejoin regular training with the team in the near future. However, he has been seen performing specific and individualized exercises on the field, with the main goal of returning to work with his teammates within two weeks.<\/p>

According to ‘SPORT’, the Barcelona forecast may include having Christensen<\/strong> in their sports planning starting from December. For the upcoming matches in November (Celta de Vigo, Stade Brestois, and UD Las Palmas)<\/strong>, it is not expected that the Danish player will be called up for any of them.<\/p>

If his return materializes in December, it is important to note that there should be no issue for the former Chelsea<\/strong> player to play normally. Due to Christensen’s<\/strong> long-term injury (over four months), enough space was freed up on the salary scale to register Dani Olmo<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>

This situation raised many doubts as to whether, having used part of this space (80% of the salary) of the Danish player to register Terrassa’s player, Andreas might not be able to play if he returns before four months<\/strong>. However, this issue should not be a significant impediment for Christensen<\/strong> to see action normally.<\/p>
