Lamine Yamal spoke with ‘TVE’ about his goals for the 25\/26 season with Bar\u00e7a, the National Team and his desire to win the Ballon d’Or, in addition to analyzing his current situation and that of the club<\/h2> \r\n

“Being there at 18 years old is something to be valued and hopefully it will happen<\/strong>“, he added. Along with Lamine, Ousmane Demb\u00e9l\u00e9 is emerging as a favorite, although Raphinha, Pedri, Robert Lewandowski and Mohamed Salah, among other ‘heavyweights’, are also nominated.<\/p>

In that sense, the azulgrana winger is clear about who he would give the award to if he couldn’t win it. “Who would I give it to? To Messi and Neymar, they are the ones I enjoy the most<\/strong>. I think Ney could have won one in his best years”, argued the 18-year-old player.<\/p>

On the other hand, Lamine Yamal unraveled his current situation as a Barcelona player. Regarding his new number<\/a>, he admitted that he had possibilities to wear the ’10’ last season, but he never considered this possibility while Ansu Fati was still in the team.<\/p>

“I don’t think it was the time to go from the ’27’ of then. Also, Ansu, a great friend of mine, was wearing it, and I had to respect him. I wouldn’t like a friend to come and ask me for it<\/strong>“, explained the Rocafonda native. Similarly, he revealed the key to managing the pressure of being the new azulgrana star.<\/p>

I realized that everything that happens to me in life will be a topic of discussion and, sometimes, of invention<\/strong>, because I see that things have happened in my life that I didn’t know about. I only listen to my circle”, commented a Lamine who was also sincere about Barcelona’s last game and what happened in the market.<\/p>

“You will never know if I am happy or sad just from the words of others. I follow my path and maintain my mentality, that is the reason why I have come this far”<\/p> <\/blockquote>
