At its 125th anniversary gala, Bar\u00e7a presented its new mascot, ‘Cat’. The club intends to make it a symbol that will endure over time.<\/h2>\n\n\r\n

As part of the celebration of its 125th anniversary, FC Barcelona has taken advantage of the stage at the Gran Teatre del Liceu to present its new mascot<\/a>. The attendees of the event were able to meet ‘Cat’ for the first time, the new symbol of Barcelona’s fans, whose name not only refers to the animal in English, but also to the abbreviation for Catalonia.<\/p>\n

With Gavi and Lamine Yamal<\/strong> on stage, Bar\u00e7a <\/strong>unveiled its new mascot, which was designed by the Catalan cartoonist and illustrator Carlos Grangel, who has previously been part of famous projects by the American animation studio ‘DreamWorks’, such as ‘Kung Fu Panda’, ‘Madagascar’ and ‘Hotel Transylvania’.<\/p>\n
