Meanwhile, <strong>FIFA <\/strong>announced last Saturday, September 28, the list of stadiums that will host the new edition of the championship.<\/p>  <p>Up to ten cities will host some matches of the competition, the most notable being MetLife Stadium and Red Bull Arena in <strong>New Jersey<\/strong>, Hard Rock Stadium in <strong>Miami <\/strong>and Mercedes Benz Stadium in <strong>Atlanta<\/strong>.<\/p>  <p>Meanwhile, Lumen Field in <strong>Seattle<\/strong>, Camping World Stadium and Inter&amp;Co Stadium in <strong>Orlando<\/strong>, Bank of America Stadium in <strong>Charlotte<\/strong>, TQL Stadium in <strong>Cincinnati<\/strong>, Audi Field in <strong>Washington DC<\/strong>, GEODIS Park in <strong>Nashville <\/strong>and Lincoln Financial Field in <strong>Philadelphia <\/strong>complete the list of twelve venues.<\/p>  <h2>Bar\u00e7a will not be part of the first edition<\/h2>  <p>The new <strong>Club World Cup<\/strong> will be contested by 32 teams, with <strong>Real Madrid and Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid<\/strong> being the two Spanish representatives.<strong> FC Barcelona<\/strong> has been left out of the first edition of the tournament due to its position in the UEFA rankings, as FIFA only allowed two teams per country to qualify and both the Merengues (2nd) and Colchoneros (10th) were placed above the Cul\u00e9s (12th) in the rankings.<\/p>  <p>Thus, and with important absences such as Liverpool and the Blaugrana team, the 10 remaining European places have been obtained by <strong>Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG, Inter, Juventus, Porto, Benfica, Borussia Dortmund and Salzburg<\/strong>.<\/p> ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FIFA has announced the 12 host cities for the Club World Cup.
