Lamine Yamal<\/strong> was one of the standout stars of the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards<\/strong> gala, held at the Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai. FC Barcelona<\/strong>‘s ’10’ took home the award for Best Forward of the Year, in addition to receiving the trophy for Best Young Player (U-23) in LaLiga<\/strong>.<\/p>

The Rocafonda native competed for the Best Forward award against Ousmane Demb\u00e9l\u00e9<\/strong>, Kylian Mbapp\u00e9<\/strong>, and his teammate Raphinha<\/strong>. With 21 goals in the calendar year, the 18-year-old winger added another prize to his brilliant individual record.<\/p>

“First, I want to thank the club, my family, my friends, everyone. Any individual or collective award is an honor, and now I have to keep working to bring in more<\/strong>,” Lamine said upon receiving the distinction.<\/p>

The Bar\u00e7a winger also received the 2025 Maradona Award<\/strong>, an accolade previously won by Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Jude Bellingham in 2022, 2023, and 2024, respectively.<\/p>

“I think last year I was the kid who had just arrived, and now I have the pressure of being an important player.<\/strong> Thank God it has gone well,” Yamal commented as he took the stage for the third time. Demb\u00e9l\u00e9, for his part, won the Best Men’s Player of the Year award, just as he did with the Ballon d’Or<\/a> and FIFA The Best<\/a>.<\/p>

FC Barcelona, which swept the four awards in the gala dedicated to LaLiga (best team, best coach, best player, and best U-23), with Hansi Flick<\/a>, Raphinha<\/strong>, and Lamine Yamal<\/strong> as winners, also secured the award for Best Women’s Club of 2025.<\/p>

The Catalan side won the Liga F and Copa de la Reina titles, in addition to reaching their fifth consecutive UEFA Women’s Champions League final, although they fell against Arsenal (1-0)<\/a> and were unable to secure a third consecutive title.<\/p>

“This award is because the club is winning everything in men’s football, but this is the way to recognize what we are doing in women’s football<\/strong>. I am very proud and, although I was surprised because Arsenal won the Champions League, I think the benchmark that FC Barcelona represents is being rewarded,” argued president Joan Laporta.<\/p>

Bar\u00e7a also celebrated the Best Women’s Player of the Year award, once again granted to Aitana Bonmat\u00ed<\/a><\/strong>. The Bar\u00e7a Femen\u00ed star also won the Ballon d’Or<\/a> and FIFA The Best<\/a> this year\u2014the third consecutive year she has swept all individual awards as the undisputed best player on the planet.<\/p>

As expected, Paris Saint-Germain was the other major protagonist of the gala. The French side, the reigning European champions, won the award for Best Men’s Club of the Year. Furthermore, Luis Campos<\/strong> was named Best Sporting Director and Nasser Al-Khela\u00effi<\/strong> Best President, while Luis Enrique<\/strong> took home the trophy for Best Coach and Vitinha<\/strong> for Best Midfielder.<\/p>

D\u00e9sir\u00e9 Dou\u00e9<\/strong>, for his part, won the Breakthrough Player of the Year award, beating out Pau Cubars\u00ed. The gala also honored Jorge Mendes<\/strong> (Best Agent), Hidetoshi Nakata<\/strong> and Andr\u00e9s Iniesta<\/strong> (Player Career Award), and the late Diogo Jota<\/a>.<\/p>
