The European football season officially opens this Wednesday, August 14, with the European Super Cup. Starting on Friday, August 16, the main leagues of the old continent begin and we tell you what the changes will be in the broadcasts<\/h2> \r\n
\r\n \r\n \r\n Calendar of FC Barcelona <\/a>\r\n<\/div>

The fans are smiling. The 2024\/25 European football season officially opens this Wednesday, August 14, with the European Super Cup<\/strong> between Real Madrid and Atalanta, to start a season full of television plans on platforms and applications. LaLiga and the European club competitions will not have changes in terms of broadcasting rights.<\/p>

The Spanish league<\/a> will continue to be divided between LaLiga TV on Movistar+ and Orange with five matches per matchday,<\/strong> in addition to three exclusives. Meanwhile, DAZN LaLiga (available on the two aforementioned services) will offer the other five matches of each matchday. One open match per matchday will continue to be broadcast by Gol Play. The Cl\u00e1sico of the first round will be seen on DAZN LaLiga and the one of the second, on LaLiga TV on Movistar + and Orange. LaLiga Hypermotion TV will be on Movistar +, Orange, Vodafone, DAZN, Amazon and more than a dozen cable operators.<\/p>

Changes in European football broadcasts<\/h2>

The new Champions League<\/a>, which will have a 36-team group stage and 18 matches in each of the eight rounds, will be broadcast on Movistar+ and Orange.<\/strong> The same applies to the Europa League and the Conference League. Telef\u00f3nica’s big bet, which paid 960 million euros to UEFA for the broadcast of the three competitions between 2024 and 2027, has resulted in them not broadcasting Serie A this season. The Italian league had been one of its big bets, but now it will be broadcast on DAZN<\/strong>, which bought the rights to the ‘calcio’ until 2027 and those of the Premier League until 2029.<\/p>

The Bundesliga will leave Movistar+ after almost three decades, with DAZN buying the broadcast until 2029 exclusively. <\/strong>This same channel will continue to broadcast the English league, but in this campaign it will share a match of each round with Movistar+. This match will be available to subscribers of the entire Telef\u00f3nica football package and to those who are only subscribed to the basic platform for a much lower price.<\/p>

If we talk about the rest of the leagues, Ligue 1 without Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 will not be on Eurosport this season. <\/strong>It can be seen through the online platform Fanatiz, which also broadcasts the leagues of Brazil and Argentina. As for women’s football, DAZN maintains the Liga F (with a match on open broadcast on Gol Play) and the Champions League.
