In turn, the employers expressed another essential condition for a player to be eligible for this exception:<\/p>  <ul> <li>\ud83d\udccc The player must <strong>have been fully contracted for at least the previous three seasons<\/strong> consecutively in the same club.<\/li> <\/ul> <h2>Why could Barcelona benefit from this clause to renew Lamine Yamal?<\/h2>  <p>In this context, <strong>Lamine Yamal&#8217;s<\/strong> profile fits perfectly. The right winger, who is expected to formalize his renewal as soon as he reaches the age of majority, will be able to receive <strong>a long-term contract according to his performance<\/strong>. At the end of the 2024-25 season, the &#8217;19&#8217; will have completed his second year in the first team, which, added to his time in La Masia, guarantees that <strong>Barcelona<\/strong> can register the new contract without any problems under this modality if required.<\/p>  <p>It is worth remembering that <strong>the renewal is expected to be sealed and made official by the start of the 2025-26 season<\/strong>, extending <strong>Lamine Yamal&#8217;s<\/strong> stay, presumably, until 2030.<\/p>  <p>However, this rule has a small disadvantage: <strong>the excess salary generated by this renewal must be compensated during the same year<\/strong>. If this compensation is not met, the amount will be deducted from the salary cap for the following season.<\/p>  <h2>Provisional registrations: A new flexibility for clubs<\/h2>  <p>Another of the novelties announced by <strong>LaLiga<\/strong> is the option of provisionally registering three players per season. These registrations can occur in the following way:<\/p>  <ul> <li>\ud83d\udccc <strong>One per transfer<\/strong> <\/li> \t<li>\ud83d\udccc <strong>Two for free agents<\/strong> <\/li> <\/ul> <p>These elements <strong>can be registered with temporary visas, which allows them to exceed the salary cap<\/strong>. The validity of these registrations will be one year, during which the club must find the formula to generate the necessary space and make them definitive.<\/p>  <h2>Flexibility of the &#8220;one for four&#8221; and &#8220;one for three&#8221; system<\/h2>  <p>Another key to <strong>LaLiga&#8217;s<\/strong> new economic framework is the flexibility of the <strong>&#8220;one for four&#8221;<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;one for three&#8221;<\/strong> system, which previously severely limited the ability of clubs that exceeded their salary cap to sign players. Under the previous regulations, teams could only reinvest one euro for every four (or three, as the case may be) they managed to free up through departures or savings in mass salary and amortizations. With the new system, that margin is considerably expanded:<\/p>  <ul> <li>\ud83d\udccc <strong>Now clubs will be able to spend up to 60%<\/strong> of what they manage to free up if it is a player with a standard salary for the team.<\/li> \t<li>\ud83d\udccc <strong>70% if the reinforcement is considered a &#8220;franchise player&#8221;<\/strong>, that is, one of the highest paid players in the squad.<\/li> <\/ul> <h2>An economic &#8216;break&#8217; for FC Barcelona<\/h2>  <p>Definitely, these movements allow <strong>FC Barcelona<\/strong> to &#8216;breathe&#8217; economically.
