Although his contract renewal until the 2026 World Cup was announced last June, six months later the final offer has not been formalized.<\/p>  <h3>Changes at the RFEF and a lack of clarity<\/h3>  <p>The change of president at the RFEF, with the arrival of <strong>Louz\u00e1n<\/strong>, has further complicated the process. According to <strong>Roberto G\u00f3mez<\/strong> in <em>ElDesmarque Madrugada<\/em>, neither the coach nor his legal team have received official documentation for the extension of the contract.<\/p>  <p>\u201cIt&#8217;s strange. The new president has been in office for 20 days and he has not yet been contacted,&#8221; said Gomez.
