Through its official media, the institution confirmed that <strong>it will take place on Thursday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m. in Miami<\/strong> and will be broadcast live to the entire world.<\/p>  <p>The competition will be held in the United States <strong>between June 15 and July 13, 2025<\/strong> and, at the moment, 31 teams have qualified. The last ticket will go to the winner of the <strong>Copa Libertadores<\/strong> final, which will be played by Brazilian teams <strong>Atl\u00e9tico Mineiro and Botafogo<\/strong> in Buenos Aires (Argentina) on Saturday, November 30.<\/p>  <p>In the new format of the competition, there will be a group stage, made up of 8 groups of 4 teams each, with each team playing three games and the best two teams from each group qualifying for the next stage. The knockout phase will then take place, divided into the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. <strong>The champion will have to play a total of seven matches to win the title <\/strong>and there will be no match for third place.<\/p>  <h3>Teams qualified for the 2025 Club World Cup<\/h3>  <p><a data-external=\"0\" data-intl-links-en=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com\/en\/football-soccer\/does-barca-have-chance-of-playing-in-the-club-world-cup-inter-miami-is-the-champion-of-nothing_308524_102.html\" data-intl-links-es=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com\/futbol\/tiene-opciones-barcelona-jugar-mundial-clubs-inter-miami-es-campeon-nada_308524_102.html\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com\/en\/football-soccer\/does-barca-have-chance-of-playing-in-the-club-world-cup-inter-miami-is-the-champion-of-nothing_308524_102.html\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Does Bar\u00e7a have a chance of playing in the Club World Cup? Inter Miami is the champion of nothing\">FC Barcelona has been left out of the first edition of the tournament due to its position in the UEFA rankings<\/a>, as <strong>FIFA <\/strong>only allowed two teams per country to qualify and both <strong>Real Madrid <\/strong>(2nd) and <strong>Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid<\/strong> (10th) were above the Catalans (12th) in the standings.
