The French League asks Mbapp\u00e9 and PSG to negotiate to resolve their &#8216;war&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The French Professional Football League (LFP) has invited Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 and PSG to negotiate to resolve their financial &#8216;war&#8217;, in which the current Real Madrid striker claims that the French club owes him \u20ac55M in wages and bonuses<\/h2>  \r\n<div class=\"article-addons\">\r\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcbarcelonanoticias.com\/en\/calendar-fc-barcelona.html\"\r\n       target=\"_self\"\r\n       title=\"Calendar of FC Barcelona\"\r\n       class=\"blue-gredient-btn\">\r\n       \r\n        Calendar of FC Barcelona    <\/a>\r\n<\/div>   <p>Bad news for Kylian Mbapp\u00e9. <strong>In a hearing held on September 11 by the Professional Football League (LFP) it was determined that he must negotiate with Paris Saint-Germain,<\/strong> in a mediation process, to resolve his claim of 55 million euros that he considers the French club owes him in salaries and bonuses.<\/p>  <p>PSG already spoke through a statement sent to &#8216;EFE&#8217;,<strong> where they considered themselves &#8220;satisfied&#8221; with the hearing and asserted that &#8220;the mediation process&#8221;<\/strong> requested by the French League is what &#8220;they have been looking for for many months.&#8221; Meanwhile, <strong>Mbapp\u00e9&#8217;s lawyers have rejected the result of this meeting, so they will soon have to announce whether they accept mediation or go directly to the French labor courts<\/strong>, who would be in charge of resolving the dispute. If this last situation occurs, the case could take years to resolve.<\/p>  <h2>The conflict between Mbapp\u00e9 and PSG<\/h2>  <p>Let us remember that the forward left PSG this summer to sign for Real Madrid.<strong> However, for months he has been demanding 55 million euros between salaries and bonuses from what was his club for seven years.<\/strong> The captain of the French national team also went to UEFA for this issue of non-payments, which correspond to a part of his loyalty bonus and three months of salary.<\/p>  <p><strong>Mbapp\u00e9 clings to the figures established in the contract he signed in 2022, but the French say that there was a &#8220;gentlemen&#8217;s agreement&#8221;<\/strong> to which the footballer agreed last summer, when the board removed him from the squad as punishment for not renewing. PSG president Nasser Al-Khela\u00effi assured that on August 12, 2023, the attacker agreed to forgive a total of 80 million euros between salaries and bonuses corresponding to his last year of contract.<\/p>  <p><strong>The player&#8217;s defence insists that this commitment was never agreed in writing, so the club is obliged to pay him the outstanding money.<\/strong> Initially, the figure was thought to be \u20ac100M, but the final amount is \u20ac55M. If the LFP had found PSG guilty of non-payment, it would prohibit any new signings until the situation is regularised, although this has not yet happened.
