The FC Barcelona<\/strong> visits Sevilla<\/strong> this Sunday (4:15 PM CEST) for matchday 8 of LaLiga and will do so with the refereeing of Alejandro Mu\u00f1iz Ruiz<\/strong>. The Galician referee was designated by the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA)<\/a> together with Carlos del Cerro Grande<\/strong> (VAR) and Jes\u00fas Gil Manzano<\/strong>, the latter as VAR assistant. Last season, Bar\u00e7a had a bad memory with the 34-year-old referee. In the match corresponding to matchday 16, against Betis (2-2), Mu\u00f1iz Ruiz sent off Hansi Flick for protesting a penalty<\/a> in favor of the ‘Verdiblanco’ team. For the moment, Barcelona has a very favorable record in League matches refereed by the Galician judge. In total, Alejandro Mu\u00f1iz Ruiz has officiated eight matches for the Blaugrana team, with a balance of seven Bar\u00e7a victories and only one draw<\/strong> (the 2-2 against Betis from the previous year).<\/p>
