FC Barcelona does not usually accumulate many draws since moving to Montju\u00efc last season. This Saturday’s match was only the fourth home game that the cul\u00e9s have drawn at the Llu\u00eds Companys since August 2023<\/strong>, when they began their journey to the Olympic Stadium due to the renovation of Spotify Camp Nou. Not surprisingly, in LaLiga, the azulgrana team had gone almost a year and two months without drawing against an opponent at home.<\/p>

Against Betis (1-1)<\/a>, Hansi Flick’s team recorded their first draw of the tournament in Montju\u00efc, <\/strong>something that hadn’t happened since February 11, 2024<\/strong>. It was on matchday 24, against Granada (3-3)<\/strong>, when the team then coached by Xavi Hern\u00e1ndez let two points slip away in a crazy match. Bar\u00e7a took the lead with a goal from Lamine Yamal, but the nazar\u00edes equalized before halftime and managed to take the lead twice in the second half, but Robert Lewandowski and Yamal again prevented the azulgrana downfall.<\/p>

On Saturday there were fewer goals, but the Catalans again let two points slip away after taking the lead. Gavi scored the 1-0 in the 7′<\/a>, but Natan equalized the score ten minutes later. In the Champions League, Bar\u00e7a had drawn against Atalanta in the last match of the league phase (2-2), with the ticket to the round of 16 secured. In the Copa del Rey, Atl\u00e9tico also salvaged a draw at the last minute in the first leg of the ‘semis’ (4-4). In the return leg, the cul\u00e9s advanced thanks to a narrow victory at the Metropolitano (0-1).<\/p>

Bar\u00e7a aims to improve their home record in LaLiga 2024-25<\/h2>

Last season, Bar\u00e7a recorded 15 wins, 1 draw, and 3 losses in their 19 matches at Montju\u00efc<\/strong>. The record was 43 goals for and 21 against (+22), with losses to Real Madrid (1-2), Girona (2-4), and Villarreal (3-5), in addition to the aforementioned draw against Granada. In the previous campaign, the last at Camp Nou (22-23), Bar\u00e7a only lost one home match (1-2 against Real Sociedad, already with the title secured), accumulating 15 wins and 3 draws. <\/p>

In 2024-25, with Hansi Flick on the bench, the azulgrana team’s record at the Llu\u00eds Companys is 11 wins, 1 draw, and 3 losses<\/strong>. Las Palmas (1-2), along with Legan\u00e9s (0-1) and Atl\u00e9tico (1-2) managed to defeat Bar\u00e7a in the first half of the season. Since then, only Betis has managed to take points from the cul\u00e9 stronghold, where the team has scored 41 goals and conceded 11. With four home matches remaining, the Catalans still have the opportunity to improve their performance at Montju\u00efc compared to the previous season.<\/p>
