Gerard Mart\u00edn has been registered by Bar\u00e7a this Friday in LaLiga. The full-back will be able to enter the squad for matchday 3, against Rayo<\/h2> \r\n

FC Barcelona<\/strong> is very close to closing the registration file in LaLiga EA Sports 2025\/26<\/strong>. This Friday, Gerard Mart\u00edn<\/strong> was officially registered by the club, with ’18’ as the assigned number. The 23-year-old defender played the previous year with a reserve team contract and wearing ’35’ on his back. Now, he takes the number that Pau V\u00edctor<\/strong> used.<\/p>

Due to his age (he will turn 24 in February), Gerard could no longer be part of Bar\u00e7a Atl\u00e8tic<\/strong>. The club prioritized the registrations of Joan Garc\u00eda<\/strong> and Marcus Rashford<\/strong> for matchday 1, while Mart\u00edn, along with Wojciech Szczesny <\/strong>and Roony Bardghji<\/strong> waited for their license.<\/p>

Thanks to the activation of a new guarantee for 5 million euros, together with the salary cap released with the loan of I\u00f1aki Pe\u00f1a<\/a> and the termination of the contract of Oriol Romeu<\/strong>, Bar\u00e7a was able to register ’18’ and, shortly, will do the same with ‘Tek’ and Roony.<\/p>

Barcelona already has 25 players registered in LaLiga<\/h2>

In this way, the Azulgrana team has 25 players registered in its official squad for LaLiga 25\/26. Five of them (Diego Kochen, Jofre Torrents, ‘Dro’ Fern\u00e1ndez, Guille Fern\u00e1ndez and Toni Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>) maintain a reserve team contract, which means there are still five places available in the first team.<\/p>
