Xabi Alonso<\/strong>‘s Real Madrid<\/b> is the new leader of LaLiga EA Sports 2025\/26<\/strong> on matchday 3, thanks to a victory over Mallorca (2-1)<\/a>. The ‘merengues’ go into the break with a perfect score (9), thanks to goals from Arda G\u00fcler and Vinicius Jr.<\/p>

The Balearic team had taken the lead with a goal from Vedat Muriqi<\/strong> in the 18th minute, but the ‘merengues’ turned it around in a flurry of two minutes with goals from the Turkish player and the Brazilian, both in the 37th and 38th minutes, respectively.<\/p>

Third matchday without a win for Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid<\/h2>

Matchday 3 began on Friday with victories for Elche and Valencia over Levante (2-0) and Getafe (3-0)<\/strong>, respectively. These results allow the teams from Elche and Valencia to temporarily move up to 6th and 8th place in the standings.<\/p>

This Saturday, in addition to Real Madrid’s victory over Mallorca, Oviedo and Sevilla recorded their first victories over Real Sociedad (1-0) and Girona (0-2)<\/strong>. Montilivi’s team is still in total crisis and has conceded 10 goals in 3 matches, scoring only 1.<\/p>

Another team that has had a forgettable start to the season is Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid<\/strong>. The ‘colchoneros’ barely managed to salvage another draw away to Alav\u00e9s <\/strong>(1-1), thanks to an illegal goal by Giuliano Simeone<\/strong> in the 7th minute.<\/p>
