Lamine Yamal played his second match at the Spotify Camp Nou on Saturday, his first as a starter in the reopening of the Bar\u00e7a temple. The ’10’, although he couldn’t score, provided a couple of assists and had a great game against Athletic (4-0)<\/h2> \r\n

FC Barcelona thrashed Athletic Club (4-0)<\/a> in another magical afternoon for Lamine Yamal<\/strong>. The ’10’, although he couldn’t score for the fourth consecutive match, was the best of the blaugrana offensive trident, participating in two of the four goals scored by Hansi Flick<\/strong>‘s team in the long-awaited return to the Spotify Camp Nou<\/strong><\/p>

Yamal showcased his repertoire with two passes that left Ferran Torres one-on-one against Unai Sim\u00f3n<\/strong>. The first, with the outside of his left foot just before halftime, orchestrated the goal that sealed the match. Towards the end, Lamine once again displayed his magic with another through ball to ‘El Tibur\u00f3n’, this time after leaving four rivals behind with a ‘Messi-esque’ play.<\/p>

The linesman, in principle, signaled offside for the ‘7’, but VAR validated the goal<\/strong>. The ’10’ only lacked a goal on the day, but between Unai Sim\u00f3n and the Basque defenders, they managed to prevent the fourth consecutive celebration for the player from Rocafonda.<\/p>

Lamine, however, is already **joint-leader in LaLiga assists with 6** and is just one behind Marcus Rashford (8), the team’s top assist provider so far this season. The Englishman missed Matchday 13 of the league due to a cold, but will be back against Chelsea next Tuesday<\/p>
