The FIFA Club World Cup now has 9 of the 16 teams qualified for the round of 16 of the tournament being held in the United States. The last to advance to the next stage was Benfica<\/a><\/strong>, who on Tuesday surprised Bayern Munich<\/a> (1-0) to take the top spot in Group C.<\/p>

Bruno Lage’s side took the lead in the 13th minute with a goal from Norwegian winger Andreas Schjelderup<\/strong> and managed to hold on to the narrow lead against a Bayern team that rested several starters, with qualification already secured.<\/p>

After halftime, defender Christian Gray scored the equalizer in the 52nd minute. Three minutes later, the match was suspended for more than half an hour due to a storm threat.
