Alejandro Balde’s future could take an unexpected turn next summer<\/a>. The 21-year-old player will cease to be undisputed on the left flank for FC Barcelona in the 2025-26 season, and if a good offer comes in the summer market, the club will give the green light for his departure. The full-back has a contract until 2028 and a release clause of 1 billion euros, as established in the contract extension signed in September 2023.<\/p>

However, recent information indicates Barcelona’s intention to accept a figure close to 55-60 ‘million’ next summer for \u00c1lex<\/strong>. The board and coaching staff see the ‘3’ as a long-term asset, but his drop in performance in the final stretch of 2024 made it clear that there is a need to at least sign another player capable of competing for his position, something that Gerard Mart\u00edn is clearly not in a position to achieve.
