Andreas Christensen<\/b> is not shaping up as Hansi Flick’s<\/b> favorite option among his alternatives in defense, however, he is still important in the football project of the FC Barcelona<\/strong> coach.<\/p>

The strategist has repeatedly stressed the importance of the current players in the squad<\/a> and that he counts on each of them due to the complexity of the season and the large number of matches in all competitions.<\/p>

The Dane did not see minutes against RCD Mallorca<\/b> despite the departure of I\u00f1igo Mart\u00ednez<\/b> to Al-Nassr, with Ronald Araujo<\/b> being the fixed bet to accompany Pau Cubars\u00ed in the center of the defense this season.<\/p>

The Uruguayan defender had an excellent preseason with Bar\u00e7a<\/b>, looking very secure alongside Cubars\u00ed in the first matchday of LaLiga<\/b>, which is why Christensen will once again be relegated to the bench in 25\/26.<\/p>
