In an extensive interview for Polish journalist Bogdan Rymanowski<\/strong>, Bar\u00e7a’s number ‘9’ made clear the factors that will influence his future at the Catalan club. ‘Lewy’ is calm about the summer, as he understands that there is still enough time to make “the best decision”<\/strong> for both parties.<\/p>

The talk published on Rymanowski’s YouTube channel<\/a> allowed Robert to open up about his relationship with the board and coaching staff. Beyond the rumors related to his performance and salary, the respect is total between the forward and the club with which he has scored 109 goals in three and a half seasons<\/strong> (165 games)<\/p>

Lewandowski reveals the key factor for his renewal or departure from Bar\u00e7a<\/h2>

“I don’t talk to the coach about potential interest from other clubs. Nor is it a matter of halving my salary. The decision will depend on what the club wants and what I consider best<\/strong>,” Lewandowski explained, in statements leaked by ‘Mundo Deportivo’.The ‘9’ maintains, in 25\/26, the highest salary in the squad (26 million gross) and has ceased to be an undisputed starter in the team led by Hansi Flick. Some muscular problems<\/a> have reduced his appearances to only 18 out of the 25 matches played by Bar\u00e7a<\/strong> in the first half of the season (10 as a starter)<\/p>

Furthermore, his performance has also been far from the usual average, with barely 8 goals and a couple of assists (all in the League)<\/strong>. In this regard, the 37-year-old player believes that everything will be resolved in the coming months, once the club and he himself clarify their positions and objectives.<\/p>

The manager continues to have full confidence in ‘Lewy’, but also rewards the performance of Ferran Torres<\/a><\/strong>, who remains the team’s top scorer in 25\/26 with 13 goals in 22 games (16 starts).  <\/p>

Lewandowski’s Goals for 2026: The ‘9’ Wants to Win Everything at Barcelona<\/h2>

Beyond the doubts surrounding his future at Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski views the current situation of the Blaugrana team and his role within the locker room positively, as a benchmark and leader of a squad full of young talent.<\/p>

“There has been an improvement. Everything is a bit more stable and that helps the team perform better. The atmosphere in the locker room is good,” argued the ‘9’ from Bar\u00e7a. Likewise, he did not hide his desire to try to win everything in 2026, which could be his last great year as a professional.<\/p>

“I want it all: to qualify for the World Cup, to win the league and the Champions League. I know I’m in the final stretch of my career, but I still have very high ambitions”<\/p> <\/blockquote>

Likewise, Robert expressed his confidence in resolving Poland’s qualification for the World Cup, for which they must overcome the playoff in March. In turn, he made his mentality clear for staying in the elite for so long.<\/p>
