BARÇA BEATS REAL MADRID OR BAYERN
Ranking leader! Barça, the one that earns the most from the sale of its kits
In 2023, FC Barcelona became the club that generated the most money through sponsorships and marketing of its kits and merchandising, in general. It was ahead of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich
The FC Barcelona is living his moment more 'complicated' with Nike and the relation hangs of a thread. The club has showed his discontent by the supposed incumplimiento of the conditions of the agreement and by the feeling that the American multinational has not given them the 'put' that deserve -by what generate-. They carried them to the courts and lost the battle, remaining forced to fulfil the agreement that links them until 30 June 2028.
From the City Condal have defended in front of Nike, in addition to the incumplimientos, that the current agreement does not correspond to the reality of the club and would have sufficient reasons to show it. The annual report of the UEFA, published does some months, signalled that the Barça is the European club that more income generates by the sale of his equipaciones and merchandising in general, by in front of the Real Madrid, Bayern of Munich, Liverpool and Manchester United, among others.
179 million income for the Barça
In 2023 they achieved 179 million euros, 24 more than the White House. In 'FootyHeadlines' explain that the UEFA studies the income of the clubs taking in account the mount that they pay by the sponsorship of the equipaciones and the total income that receives each club by the commercialisation of his products: T-shirts, chandales, among others... The sum of everything gives like result the 179 'kilos'.
Although there are not official figures, because the UEFA does not share the number of products sold by each team, keeps on being a very good news for a Barça that, unlike when had to Leo Messi in his staff, does not have to a 'crack' of world-wide size as yes they do it other clubs like the PSG (Mbappé), City (Haaland), Real Madrid with Vinicius Jr or Belingham... Something that 'explain' the insistence of the club in improving the conditions of the agreement with Nike.
