Rousaud will present this week his precandidature to the elections of the Barça

Emili Rousaud (54 years) was institutional vice-president during the presidency of Josep Maria Bartomeu, and now will struggle for chairing the FC Barcelona in the next elections of 24 January 2021. The ex vice-president will present his precandidatura this Thursday in an act that will celebrate in the emblematic Pedrera of Barcelona.

Emili Rousaud Resigned like vice-president in the last period of Bartomeu together with other five directors: Enrique Tombas, Silvio Elías, Josep Pont, Maria Teixidor and Jordi Calsamiglia. The reason was the case of the social networks, in where Rousaud considered that it had not managed well and protested to Bartomeu because the payments that did to I3 Ventures fractionated not to have to be validated in managerial board.

Of the same way, during an intervention in RAC1, hinted that somebody of the club "had put the hand in the box" in the management of the relation with I3 Ventures, although later it established in clearing that it did not refer to any member of the managerial board.

But now, after the attempt of Rousaud in forming a transversal candidature that included to different precandidatos to face with more strength the complicated situation that crosses the entity, finally will go in solitary.

Until ten precandidatos

The another precandidato confirmed in the last hours, the ex president Joan Laporta, will expect until the Monday to present officially his project to the presidency of the Barça. The act will take place in the installations of the hospital Sant Pau of Barcelona. The date chosen, on 1 December, is not casual. The Sunday 30 November will fulfil 121 years from the creation of the Barcelona club.

On the other hand Joan Rosell, the another name that carries months sounding as possible precandidato, also will participate in these elections that will have until ten precandidatos in discord: Jordi Farré, Joan Laporta, Agustí Benedito, Toni Freixa, Víctor Font, Pere Laughed, Lluís Fernández Alà, Xavi Vilajoana, Emili Rousaud and the own Joan Rosell.
