A sector of the Barça board wants Xavi to redirect his behavior in games
There was a certain division in the FC Barcelona board after the confirmation of the continuity of Xavi Hernández as coach of the first team. His behavior is one of the topics that most 'worry' a certain sector of the club.
The FC Barcelona will keep to Xavi Hernández like trainer of the first team by, at least, a season more. After a 'moved' day the past Wednesday, the high spheres of the club determined that the most logical option for the immediate future of the culés was to follow with the technician of Terrassa, because it knows the house, has illusion for continuing (in spite of his attempt of resignation in January of this year) and there is not another alternative that generate real interest in the market.
The feeling in the Barça is that it has hit with the decision and already are working to schedule the next season, in which there will be some exit 'painful' and have promised reinforcements. The stage is not the more favorecedor, but will be a summer in which they will produce a lot of changes in the club with the aim that, in the 2024/2025, the team was in conditions to compete so much in Spain as in Europe. This change will affect in all the sectors, included Xavi.
The big 'problem' with Xavi
According to an information of Esport 3, a sector of the Barcelona directive expects that the one of Terrassa have a change of behaviour in the bench, during the parties. They are very concerned by the number of cautions that has received, especially in this last season, for complaining and demand by actions or referee's decisions. They do not consider lower the fact that, in 136 official parties in the bench, have been 'punished' in numerous opportunities.
In concrete, Xavi has seen 22 yellow cards and has been expelled in three opportunities. The most recent was in the Champions League, in the turn of the quarter-finals against Paris Saint-Germain. Xavi Hernández has to improve his image
