FC Barcelona continues to fine-tune details for what will be their commitment this Saturday, August 23, against Levante UD at the Ciutat de València. To that end, the squad held its last work session this Friday at the Joan Gamper Sports City, looking ahead to the duel against the granotas.
Under the tutelage of German coach Hansi Flick, the practice was attended by most of the first team members, including Robert Lewandowski, who is already training normally while waiting for medical clearance. In addition, Frenkie de Jong starred in the traditional corridor of swats after the birth of his daughter was confirmed.
Héctor Fort and Roony Bardghji, absent from the culé training session: why?
On this occasion, the training session did have notable absences: Héctor Fort and Roony Bardghji. Both were out of the first team dynamic for the same reason, although with very different contexts regarding their immediate future.
According to the azulgrana club, both the Barcelona full-back and the Swedish winger joined Barça Atlètic, under the direction of Juliano Belletti, to play a friendly match against Atlètic Lleida, scheduled at the Sports City from 6:00 p.m.

Bardghji, KO against Levante: the Swede still cannot be registered
On the other hand, Roony Bardghji is part of the German coach's sports plans for this season. However, on this occasion the coach chose to give him minutes with the 'B' team so that he does not lose competitive rhythm, since he was not registered for the first matchday of LaLiga against Valencia CF and, as Flick himself confirmed, he will not be there against Levante either:
"He is not registered for the next match. His attitude and mentality are fantastic and that helps us improve the quality of the team. He is training very well, just like the others, but he has to play. Tomorrow we will choose one or two players who have trained with us. Hopefully everyone will be registered next week," he said.
What about Guille Fernández?
So it is clear that the Swede's absence is not due to any injury, but to administrative issues. The same is true of Guille Fernández, who also did not participate in the culé practice despite being a regular in these sessions. Everything indicates that, like Fort and Bardghji, he will be part of the Barça Atlètic match against Atlètic Lleida.
