FC Barcelona was planning to broadcast the match against Vissel Kobe, corresponding to the start of the preseason in Asia, through its different streaming platforms. However, the Culers Premium site presented failures in the transmission, causing the discontent of thousands of subscribers.

Faced with this, the club published a statement indicating that the platform received a massive attack from pages, apparently pirates, who were trying to capture the signal of the match, for which the system launched its defense mechanism, causing many users not to be able to enjoy the commitment that Barça ended up winning by 1-3.

“(...) Faced with this flood of requests, the system has launched the pertinent defense mechanisms, which have affected the transmission through the web and the Culers App”, the letter states.

Although there were subscribers who pointed out that they were able to watch the match, they complained about the quality of the image, since it looked pixelated or the service suffered constant interruptions.

It should be noted that the azulgrana team announced that the three preseason matches, in addition to the match for the Joan Gamper Trophy, will be broadcast by Culers Premium Membership.

This option allows members and supporters clubs to enjoy the commitments for free through the official website and the mobile app, registering with the email, while the rest of the users must pay a fee of 39.99 euros per year to enjoy the benefits.

Barça opts for YouTube after failures in the official broadcast

In this context, Barcelona decided to enable the match openly on YouTube. However, initially the match was only enabled through the Membership modality.

It is worth remembering that this alternative is included in the Pre Season Pack, an exclusive offer that gives subscribers access to live broadcasts for a monthly fee of 9.99 euros.

This represented the fastest route for the Catalan team. Although, in countries like the United States, the broadcasts will be free through DANZ.

Likewise, in Latin America and Europe, the broadcast of the club's tour matches will be subject to the availability of local operators. So far, the transmission of the matches against FC Seoul, scheduled for July 31, and against Daegu FC, on August 4, both in South Korean territory, has been confirmed.

Coverage will vary depending on the region, so it is recommended to consult the official platforms and local media to follow the matches live.

BarçaONE is excluded from the coverage of the summer matches

Before the start of the preseason, Barça announced that the digital platform BarçaONE is currently in a process of renovation and technical maintenance, so it will not be part of the broadcasts of the Asian tour.

This update aims to improve the functionality of the service, optimize the user experience and strengthen its digital infrastructure for future content.
