The works at the Spotify Camp Nou continue to advance at a stellar pace. All this, with the great objective of obtaining all the relevant permits to be able to inhabit the historic Azulgrana fief again, which is expected to return —if there are no inconveniences, something always possible in a work of this magnitude— between the second and third week of September.

Barcelona starts installing the new turf of the Spotify Camp Nou
After a day in which it was announced that the Azulgrana team carried out an inspection of the facilities and their operability, now a new and hopeful advance has been disclosed regarding the works of the Spotify Camp Nou: Barcelona is already installing the new turf of the Blaugrana temple.
It is worth remembering that last April the turf had already been sown at the Camp Nou. However, the installation of this turf was provisional. The reason? It was placed momentarily so that it would take root and settle the ground, as well as to check that all the newly built irrigation and drainage systems were working correctly.
The new Camp Nou turf already covers almost half of the field
However, that turf was removed to install, this time yes, the definitive turf with which Barcelona will inaugurate the renovated Spotify Camp Nou. In this sense, last Monday the operators were able to settle several meters of turf. For this Tuesday, the progress is more than noticeable, to the point that almost half of the field of the Azulgrana stadium can already be seen covered with its new mantle.
For now, the return to the Spotify Camp Nou is beginning to take shape in a tangible way, with each meter of turf that settles on the ground. Although there are still details to be completed and revisions to be overcome, the illusion grows as the stadium recovers its essence. If everything goes as planned, the Catalan team will return home very soon.
