Carlo Ancelotti has announced the call-up of the Brazilian national team for the matches against Chile and Bolivia, on September 4 and 9, respectively. Raphinha, the '11' of FC Barcelona, appears among those called up. On the other hand, the players of Real Madrid, Rodrygo, Éder Militao and Vinicius Jr —who has a one-match suspension— were not called up by the coach.

Brazil has 25 points with two matches remaining to finish the South American Qualifiers and is practically qualified. Only a catastrophe would send them to the play-offs. For this reason, Barça will seek to negotiate with the CBF so that its player avoids being in the exhausting match in the Bolivian altitude, since in September they have a demanding schedule with matches of LaLiga and the Champions League.

Barça would ask that Raphinha return after the match against Chile

It must be remembered that the five-time world champion will have to visit El Alto, a city that has an altitude of 4,150 meters above sea level, a scenario that leaves enormous physical wear and tear on players. The plan of the culé team is that Raphinha can be in the match against the eliminated Chile in Río de Janeiro and immediately return to Barcelona, without having to play in Bolivian territory, this in order to reduce damage to its player.

Ancelotti, by not calling up players from Real Madrid to give them rest on this FIFA date that is inconsequential for Brazil, has shown his preference for the Whites. The opposite is the case with the Blaugranas, he has called up Raphinha. The Porto Alegre native has become one of the immovable players for Hansi Flick. In his first two matches of LaLiga EA Sports 25/26 he has played 167 minutes, he has scored a goal and has given an assist; in addition, he received a yellow card.

Brazil will tour Asia in October

For the matches against Chile and Bolivia in September, Carlo Ancelotti will be able to see players who are not regulars in the national team, such as the full-back Douglas Santos, from Zenit, and Kaio Jorge, from Cruzeiro, who is the top scorer of the current season of the Brasileirao, with 15 goals.

After closing the South American Qualifiers, Brazil plans to tour Asia in October, where they will play friendlies against South Korea, in Seoul, and Japan, in Tokyo. For that FIFA date, the Italian coach hopes to have the players who will go to the next World Cup. One of them will surely be Raphinha.
