Barça Women, led by Pere Romeu, had a more than successful tour in Mexico after winning their two matches against a combined team of stars from the Liga BBVA MX Femenil and América Femenil.
These matches served as preparation for the start of LaLiga Liga F Moeve 25/26 on August 30 when they host Alhama at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
Barça Women defeated the Liga MX All-Stars on penalties
The first presentation of Pere Romeu's team was played in the early hours of this Saturday, Barcelona time, at the Estadio Universitario de Nuevo León, in Monterrey. Barça Women tied in regular time with the Liga MX All-Stars (2-2) and subsequently emerged victorious in the penalty shootout (3-4).
The Blaugrana goals were scored by Aitana Bonmatí and an own goal by Deneisha Blackwood, while Stephanie Ribeiro and Irene Guerrero scored for the Mexican stars.
In the penalty shootout, it was a perfect execution by FC Barcelona Women, where Alexia Putellas, Claudia Pina, Marta Torrejón, and Aitana Bonmatí scored. For the Aztec team, Alicia Cervantes, Ruth Bravo, and Diana García scored, and Carolina Jaramillo and Victoria Ceceña missed. Barça Women's journey on Mexican soil closed perfectly after obtaining the victory against América Femenil at the Ciudad de los Deportes stadium in Mexico City.

The Blaugranas finished a successful tour and want to have a better season than the previous one, where they only failed to win the Women's Champions League to complete the treble. Pere Romeu's team only plans to continue dominating Spanish and European women's football from this August 30.
