FC Barcelona members and fans will finally be able to return to the Camp Nou next week. The club confirmed an open training session on Friday, November 7, at 11:00 CEST, ahead of the La Liga match against Celta Vigo. This will be the first official test for the stadium's reopening.

In a statement, Barça explained that the training session will have a capacity of 23,000 spectators, with tickets priced at €5 (season ticket holders) and €10 (general public). On Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1, attendance will be exclusively for members. The proceeds will go to the Barça Foundation and the Blaugrana Bracelets project.

According to the club, the event will serve as a "technical and operational test to verify the proper functioning of the systems, access points, and various aspects of the facility, within the framework of the stadium's gradual reopening." The Blaugrana temple will open its doors at 09:30 h, an hour and a half before the start of the Barça squad's training session.

Barça can now use Spotify Camp Nou in La Liga

The club already has the first occupancy license for phase 1A (25,991 spectators), which means it could play league matches in Les Corts if it wanted to. However, Barça has preferred to wait until the enabling of the Lateral (phase 1B) to definitively return to the culé temple.

For the time being, the team is keeping Montjuïc as its venue for the match against Elche next Sunday (18:30 CEST), while tickets for the match against Athletic (November 22) are not yet on sale. This will be the first match after the third break of the season.

In that sense, the objective of the directive is to have the first occupancy license for phase 1B for matchday 13 of LaLiga. The enabling of the Lateral stand will expand the capacity to just over 45,000 spectators (45,401 seats enabled), a figure close to the 50,000 that the Lluís Companys can receive.

Before the match against Celta, Barcelona will travel to Bruges to play matchday 4 of the Champions League group stage. As the match against Celta will be at Balaídos, Friday the 7th would be the ideal day to plan the twelfth matchday of La Liga with the support of the fans in the stands of the renovated Spotify Camp Nou.

To this end, the club must schedule the corresponding logistical and security operation, so that the fans can settle without problems in the South Goal and Tribune, for the moment the only areas enabled in the Stadium.

Logically, the internal and external access points must also be prepared, where, for the time being, the workers are still working hard on the fine-tuning of the Lateral stand and the construction of the third tier. After completing phase 1B, the completion of the Gol Nord stand will remain pending, which should take place in the first months of 2026.

The 'culers' have not visited the Estadi since the last official match in Les Corts, on May 28, 2023. Ansu Fati (double) and Gavi scored the goals against Mallorca (3-0), a thrashing that closed that season and the team's stay in the 'azulgrana' temple. That day, fans were able to take away multiple memories of the field before the start of the remodeling.
