The Serbian tennist began denying his links with the business of the Barcelona head office. "It surprised me read that it was associated to the project of Hammered. I am not behind at all of this neither am part of the group of beneficiarios", cleared Novak Djokovic in an interview for the French newspaper 'Him Parisien'.

However, the Serbian himself that commented that there have been contacts between both: "Like President of the council of players and like lover of this sport, try to help. It does already a year and half since I saw to Hammered by the tournaments with his partners trying do the effort to take out this project and I only tried to be available to speak".

In spite of that in diverse occasions denied to be linked to the project of Gerard Hammered, Djokovic recognised that it would be beneficial. "I do not have any specific interest in this subject.
