The facts that derived in the arrest of Josep Maria Bartomeu do not do more than damaging the institutional image of the FC Barcelona. The presidential candidate of the Barcelona club, Toni Freixa, has condemned all the scandal aroused as a result of the facts and wait that soon clear the subject.
In statements for The Matí of Catalonia Irradiate, the applicant referred to the Barçagate and to the arrest of his ex president: "it Is a very sad fact for all the partners of the Barça because it does not like us see to the Mossos going in in the offices, with some diligences announced and the press covering all and giving transcendence to hurt to the entity".
In his opinion, anybody shows something of respect by the Catalan club, whose image already has seen marked by judicial problems: "Against the Barça dares all the world, have had an ex president two years in the prison for afterwards have a sentence absolutoria. For Freixa, all attack to the Barça
The presidential candidate of the entiodad blaugrana warns that there is a species of systematic persecution against the club: "The partners have a feeling that all the world dares against the Barça. I am not defending to Bartomeu, that do not have neither idea of what has done".
It sustains, likewise, that the methods of Bartomeu to avoid that his image saw prejudiced perhaps have not been the most appropriate: "I Suppose that it has wanted to defend of attacks in the social networks and has done it of way barriobajera and probably of irregular form if it shows that it has been like this".
