The main commercial brands linked to the world of sports continue to hunt for Lamine Yamal. This week, his last of vacation before the start of the preseason with FC Barcelona, the Blaugrana winger has traveled to China for an Adidas advertising event in Shanghai.

The German brand, of which Leo Messi has been an ambassador for two decades, is now betting on Yamal as a replacement for 'La Pulga' in the Asian market. The youth player from Barça will share with the best players in Chinese university football, being a guest of honor at the finals of the National Youth University Football League of the Secondary School Group (CHFL).

Lamine Yamal is already a star in the Asian market

In addition, Lamine is taking advantage of his trip to China to attend commitments with the local brand OPPO, of which he has been a global ambassador since the beginning of 2025. His first stellar campaign was 'Make Your Moment' and, as for the Asian market, he also has a commercial agreement with the video game developer Konami.

Hence, Barça's tour of South Korea and Japan, at the end of July, has the new '10' of Barcelona as one of the main protagonists. His presence in China has caused a stir and the same will happen in a couple of weeks in the pre-season of the team.

Yamal, along with the rest of the squad, will return to the Ciutat Esportiva next Sunday to carry out medical tests and start training. The return to work coincides with his 18th birthday and the official signing of his new contract, where he will be accompanied by his family.

Therefore, a festive Sunday is expected in Can Barça, in an ideal setting to start a season where Hansi Flick's team is going for all the titles at stake, already back at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Lamine Yamal expands his list of commercial partners

In addition to Adidas, OPPO and Konami, the Mataró native is an ambassador for VISA (FIFA partner) and the sports drink Powerade (owned by another FIFA partner, Coca-Cola). He is also the image of the American headphone brand Beats, which is owned by Apple and collaborates, along with Messi and other 'cracks', with Unicef.

In this way, Lamine Yamal strengthens his figure as an icon not only of football, but of world sport before reaching adulthood. Great news for Barça, as it allows them to have a franchise player, at least until 2031, at the level of what, in terms of sports and commercial, Leo Messi represented between 2005 and 2021 for the club.
