In statements carried out in press conference, Luis Enrique ensured that a Glass of the King that played to only party would do much more attractive the competition for the fans and also would lighten the calendars of all the big clubs that play several competitions at the same time, as in the case of the FC Barcelona.

 "To me it would like me more. It would serve to be able to make pleasant the calendar of so many parties. Besides, the Glass of the King also would be much more attractive for the viewer", commented the Asturian trainer of the Barça.

The reality is that to day of today in the majority of European countries the Glass plays to only party, something that facilitates the possibility that, like sucede in the Premier League, some humble clubs of inferior divisions can delete to colossuses like Manchester United, Chelsea or Manchester City, in surprises that always give in one or another season. In said parties, besides, the audience is greater and the stadiums always achieve to fill.

In Spain, however, said format of only party abolished in the season 2004-05 because of the complaints of the televisions and of some big clubs that, like the FC Barcelona, remained portrayed in several occasions when falling deleted in the first rounds.
