The arrest of Bartomeu has given a lot of what speak inside and out of the club. In this occasion, the ex vice-president of the FC Barcelona has affirmed that somebody very near to the then vice-president of the Government of Spain, Soraya Sáenz of Santamaría, would have recommended to the consulting of analysis of data I3 Ventures.
Like this it indicated it in his statements for The Món of RAC1: "Bartomeu said us that somebody near to the vice-president of the Government of Spain, Soraya Sáenz of Santamaría, recommended him the contracting of I3 Ventures after 1 October 2017 (...) So much I like several directors think that Bartomeu raised us the shirt when it explained us that it had hired to I3 Ventures for recommendations of the surroundings of the PP".
In his opinion, the ex-president of the Barça did not act of the correct way: "What can not do from my point of view is to use alibis that, for me, are fallacies without any political background. If Bartomeu wanted to defend his reputation in the network, could have it done through a contracting following the internal processes of the club, but did not do it and used some arguments that seem me inverosímiles".
Rousaud Sustains that there were irregularities
The ancient director required that the process was suspicious, all time that there were attempts for avoiding the controls: "For me, it has remained clearly of self-evident that there were irregularities and, besides, that can have illicit from the penal point of view. When somebody deliberately avoids to go through the controls of the club is because there is something illicit".
At present, Bartomeu is being investigated by "Extralimitarse in his powers of administration of the heritage of the FC Barcelona like President, awarding some agreements to societies of the group Nicestream jumping the internal procedures established for this type of contractings, causing a grave economic damage for the club".
