FC Barcelona has once again ignited the hopes of its fans with a spectacular aerial video of the Spotify Camp Nou. Recorded with a drone, the nighttime tour shows the latest progress on the stadium and suggests an increasingly imminent return to the Barça temple. The images, shared this Sunday by the club, stand out for their spectacular nature and detail, illuminating the interior corridors, the parking lot, the pitch, and the first two tiers, which are now complete.
The video arrives at a key moment, while the entity awaits the first occupancy license for phase 1B, which will allow expanding the capacity to 45,000 spectators. This authorization will mark the turning point for the long-awaited return to Camp Nou, initially planned with phase 1A (27,000 seats), but postponed after assessing that current revenues in Montjuïc remain higher.

Barça Warms Up Engines to Return to Camp Nou
The remodeling project of the Spotify Camp Nou is progressing within the schedule planned by the board of directors, headed by Joan Laporta. The images released by the club reflect the progress of the works inside the stadium, where the accesses, VIP areas, the definitive lighting, and the new installed turf can already be seen.
The night view from the air offers a panorama that combines modernity, technology, and respect for the original structure of the Barça stadium. The video, accompanied by an epic soundtrack, seeks to reinforce the emotional connection between the fans and their stadium. "The heart of Barça beats again," says one of the club's promotional messages, referring to the imminent partial reopening of the venue.
Barça's Upcoming Matches Will Be Played in Montjuïc
Although the video of the new Camp Nou has ignited the culé fans' excitement, Barça has confirmed that they will continue playing at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium for at least two more matchdays. The first will be on Saturday, October 18, against Girona (4:15 PM), corresponding to LaLiga, and the second on Tuesday, October 21, against Olympiacos (6:45 PM), in the third matchday of the Champions League.
In a statement, the entity explained that it prefers to wait until phase 1B is ready before returning to the stadium, thus guaranteeing an optimal experience for members and fans. In this way, the club will go directly from a provisional capacity of 27,000 to 45,000 spectators, a leap that will also benefit matchday revenue.
The new Camp Nou, a symbol of the future and Barça pride
The Spotify Camp Nou is the epicenter of the ambitious Espai Barça, a project that will completely transform the surroundings of Les Corts. In addition to the structural improvements, the stadium will have a more efficient energy system, commercial areas, a renovated museum, and hospitality spaces adapted to international standards.
The club's goal is to be able to return to its stadium during this season and, starting in 2026, to fully reopen the venue with a capacity of over 95,000 spectators. Until then, each advance is celebrated as one more step towards returning to the home where Barça built its history.
The return to Spotify Camp Nou is getting closer. The aerial images shared by the club not only show the progress of the works, but also reaffirm the hope of all Barcelona fans to see their team back home.
