The FC Barcelona did a communiqué to explain that the Area of Compliance has opened an investigation to verify if the facts reported in the article "The signature of intermediation of players of the son of Laporta participates in signings of the Barça". This due to the fact that they constitute an incumplimiento of the normative intern of the club.
The club has detailed that has carried out diverse actions to corroborate that it has not produced any illegality around the figure of Guillen Laporta, ensuring that the son of the president of the Barça has not participated "in any meeting or negotiation in any of the operations Alonso-Lenglet-Dest, neither in any another".
In this sense, also has investigated if it has existed some connection between the FC Barcelona and the Top society Level Football 77 S.L.., being the negative answer in any case and, to his time, leaving clear that so much father like son know that "it can not participate in any professional operation with players of the Club, respecting the Statutes of the FC Barcelona, the Ethical Code, the rest of internal rule and the valid legislation".

"As a result of the publication in date 30 November 2022 of the article "The signature of intermediation of players of the son of Laporta participates in signings of the Barça" the Area of Compliance initiates an investigation to verify if the facts can be constitutive of an incumplimiento of the normative intern of the Club and valid legislation in matter of conflict of interests and autocontratación, forbidden on purpose in the article 147 of the Decree 58/2010, of 4 May, of the Sportive Entities of Catalonia that indicates that the directors can not "hire by means of his companies, or for third, with the own sportive entity in which it exerts managerial functions. This prohibition of autocontratación affects to the companies of his spouses, people linked with a relation of convivencia analogous and of his descendants or ancestors".
