The Grouping of Players (AJ FCB) and the FC Barcelona have decided to suspend the party of homage to Johan Cruyff, that had to contest this Sunday 26 November. The decision has arrived backed with the idea that it include inside the acts of the 125 anniversary of the club of the next year 2024, moment in which besides the Barcelona team would have to be of return in the Spotify Camp Nou.
"This decision has taken to be able to include this party inside the acts of the 125 anniversary of the club and celebrate the figure of Johan Cruyff like one of the icons of the history of the FC Barcelona and his impact inside the culture and the philosophy of the entity", prays the communiqué of the entity published this Thursday. Like this, the confirmation of his new date has arrived few days after announcing the original event.
Cruyff, a legend of all the barcelonismo
The friendly went to commemorate the 50 years of the arrival of Cruyff to Barcelona (1973) when it led to the Barcelona team to the conquest of the first League (1973-74) after 14 seasons without success in the championship. The Agrupació of Players of the FC Barcelona (AJ FCB), jointly with the club, have postponed the homage until the next year, knowing that Cruyff is an icon of the history of the entity by the legacy that left like player and like trainer.
After the cancellation of the party to three days of his dispute, the club will give back the price of the entrances to all the fans that had purchased them. The reason has been precisely the insufficient sale of the entrances to so few days for the event, expecting that for 2024 the situation can be distinct, especially with the première of the new Estadi culé.
