In an information that has pillado of improvisto to all the world, the economic vice-president of the FC Barcelona, Susana Monk, has presented his resignation of the charge. A news that surprises inside the entity culé but that understands , alleging personal reasons. The club affirms that Bartomeu will assume his functions temporarily.
This is the communiqué of the Barça:
"The economic vice-president of the FC Barcelona, Susana Monk, presented this Friday the renunciation to the charge by personal reasons. The president of the Club, Josep Maria Bartomeu, that expresses his respect by the decision, will assume temporarily the functions that until yesterday exerted the vice-president. The FC Barcelona wants to stand out and appreciate the extraordinary work that has done Susana Monk during the five years that was treasurer (2010-2015) and the almost year and half that has exerted like vice-president (2015 to 2016).
The season 2014/2015 also was the responsible directive of the section of handball. With her at the head of the Economic Area of the Entity, the Club has achieved a recurrent obtaining of profits and have implanted measures that protect it of a possible excess of indebtedness.
While Susana Monk has been economic vice-president, the FC Barcelona has obtained the historical record of turnover (679 millions in the exercise 2015/2016), has recessed notably the debt (271 millions in the exercise 2015/2016), and has situated it in some ratios financial that allow to the FC Barcelona enjoy of a solid economic situation".
