The whole communiqué of the RFEF

We review all the communiqué that has published the Real Spanish Federation of Football this Thursday on the renunciation of 15 footballers to the selection:

"The Real Spanish Federation of Football communicates that, along the day of today, has received 15 emails of 15 players of the feminine absolute selection of football, casually all with the same editorial, in which they manifest that the current situation generated affects them "of important form" in his "emotional state" and in his "health" and that, "while no revierta", renounce to the national selection of Spain.

The RFEF does not go to allow that the players question the continuity of the seleccionador national and of his technical body, as take these decisions does not go in inside his competitions. The Federation does not go to admit any type of pressure by part of any player to the hour to adopt measures of sportive field. This type of manoeuvres find moved away of the ejemplaridad and out of the values of the football and of the sport and are harmful.

In accordance with the valid Spanish legislation, not attending to a call of the selection is described like a very grave infringement and can involve sanctions from among two and five years of inhabilitación. The RFEF, on the contrary of the form to act of these players, wants to leave clear that will not carry them to this extreme neither the presionará. Directly, it will not summon to the footballers that do not wish to dress the T-shirt of Spain. The Federation will explain only with committed footballers although it have to play with juvenile.

This fact has become of a sportive question to a question of dignity. The selection is innegociable. It is an unprecedented situation in the history of the football, so much masculine like feminine, in the Spanish and world-wide field.

The present and the future of Spain is in the potential of the inferior categories and of players that this same summer have proclaimed champions of the world sub-20 and champions of Europe sub-19, in addition to obtaining the subcampeonato of Europe sub-17 juvenile.

The selection needs committed players with the project, with the defence of our colours and proud to dress the T-shirt of Spain.

The footballers that have presented his renunciation only will return in a future to the discipline of the selection if they assume his error and ask pardon".
