An unusual situation is what the former FC Barcelona player, Carles Pérez, is going through, who was bitten by a dog in his genitals while walking his pet. Due to the situation, the forward had to be transferred to a hospital, where he would have received at least six stitches.

According to recent information, after a first examination, the player does not present serious injuries and was able to return home. So far, it is believed that he will not have to go through surgery, but doctors are closely monitoring his condition.

This occurred in Greece, after the player arrived on loan to Aris Thessaloniki, from Celta de Vigo. Last season he played as a Getafe player, who did not execute his purchase option.

As expected, Carles Pérez will be out and the Greek club has made available all the necessary services so that the player can recover in the best way.

The Greek team is preparing for the return match belonging to the preliminary round of the Conference League, which will take place this Thursday against Araz-Naxçıvan PFK.

Aris lost the first leg 2-1, with the forward playing 90 minutes, who has coincided in Greece with other Spaniards such as Loren Morón, Álvaro Tejero and Monchu.

Carles Pérez, facing the challenge of stabilizing his career

Pérez's arrival to the Greek team represents, in principle, a challenge to be able to adapt and earn the necessary confidence of the club to achieve his sports stability, considering that during the past year with Getafe he participated in 30 matches (1,580 minutes), where he barely scored 3 goals.

It is worth remembering that the 27-year-old forward landed in Greece thanks to Rúben Reyes, current sports director of the team, who also closed his stage at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Carles Pérez, transferable for months for Celta de Vigo

With his arrival at Aris, Carles also seeks to leave behind the ostracism he has had in Vigo, where he lost prominence under the technical direction of Claudio Giráldez.

For months, Celta de Vigo has been working on finding him an exit, aware that the player did not fit into the new sports project.

Thus, the agreement reached with the Greek team —a loan with an option to buy— is emerging as the most reasonable solution for both parties, since it is a way for Pérez to feel important again on the field and a formula that allows Celta to free up space in its squad while keeping open the possibility of a definitive transfer.
