Marc Casadó is one of the players who can leave the best income in the Barça coffers this summer. The midfielder does not plan to leave, but there are several tempting offers outside of Spain

Calendar of FC Barcelona

The FC Barcelona keeps open the possibility of listening to offers for Marc Casadó in the summer market. The 21-year-old midfielder could leave between 40 and 50 million euros in the culés coffers, a significant figure considering that the '17' will start the next season knowing he will be a substitute.

Marc was an undisputed starter throughout the first half of 24/25, due to the serious injury of Marc Bernal and the absence of Frenkie de Jong. However, at the beginning of February he began to lose prominence, while the Dutchman returned to his physical and mental fullness.

To make matters worse, a muscular injury left him out of action for almost two months in March. Casadó received medical discharge in time to play the last two weeks of the season, but Hansi Flick preferred not to risk it and kept him on the bench.

The Premier and Serie A are pushing for Marc Casadó: will Barça let him go?

Beyond his absence in the final stretch of 24/25, the list of teams interested in the '17' azulgrana continues to grow. In England, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United want him, while Bayer Leverkusen and Napoli are also considering making an offer soon for the culé youth squad player close to 40 'kilos'.

Casadó consolidated last season as one of the best pivots in LaLiga, very secure in possession with the ball and always organized to cover spaces and cut off rival attacks.

The 21-year-old player was the ideal partner for Pedri González in the first half of the season, also daring to lend a hand in the pressure, in addition to filtering passes to the rival area frequently. Not in vain, he gave 6 assists.

Marc Casadó does not contemplate leaving Barça, but may change his mind

Regarding the player's position, Marc Casadó has publicly stated his desire to continue at FC Barcelona for many more years and even retire at the club, despite the offers received and having lost prominence in the starting eleven in recent months.

The contract of the Sant Pere de Vilamajor player with Barça extends until 2028 and his termination clause is 100 million euros. In 24/25, the Catalan midfielder played 36 games (29 as a starter) in which he totaled 2,447 minutes of action, with one goal and six assists.

Hansi Flick considers him indispensable for his rotation plan, but with Frenkie de Jong and Marc Bernal available, the '17' will probably have fewer opportunities to be a protagonist. Hence, Casadó has reasons to meditate his possible departure this year, when his market value already reaches 30 'kilos'.
