The Ballon d'Or already has its new monarchs. Aitana Bonmatí and Ousmane Dembélé won the awards for best player of the 2024/25 season in an emotional gala held at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. The FC Barcelona player won her third award in a row, while the 'Mosquito' won it for the first time.

The Paris Saint-Germain winger completed a great day for the team led by Luis Enrique. The Asturian won the award for best coach, while Nasser Al-Khelaïfi received the trophy for best club for his titles in the previous season (four, including the Champions League).

In addition, Gianluigi Donnarumma won the Yashin Trophy for best goalkeeper. The Italian, although he was transferred to Manchester City at the close of the summer market, obtained the award for his performance with PSG in 24/25.

Barça equaled PSG as the most awarded club of the 2025 Ballon d'Or

For its part, Barça also did the same, obtaining three awards from 'France Football'. In addition to Aitana's Ballon d'Or, Lamine Yamal won the Kopa Trophy as the best young player (Under-23), being the first to win it in consecutive years.

For her part, Vicky López did the same by winning the Kopa Trophy for best young player, while Ewa Pajor obtained the Gerd Müller Trophy as top scorer of the previous year. The Polish footballer scored 25 goals in the Liga F.

In that sense, Barça and PSG were the most awarded clubs of the gala. The blaugrana team finished second in the voting for the best women's club of the year (Arsenal won), in addition to obtaining the Silver Ball with Lamine.
