At least nine people died and tens more resulted injured like consequence of an avalanche occurred this Saturday in the stadium Demba Diop in Dakar, Senegal, when it contested the final of the Glass of Senegalese League. According to official sources quoted by emisoras of local radio, a stampede burst after the clashes between adherents of both teams that were received by the Police, the one who shot gas lacrimógeno.

During the party of final of the league, several followers of the Stade of Mbour confronted with the ones of the Union Sportive Ouaka, what caused the intervention with gases lacrimógenos by part of the Police. After the clash generated an avalanche by the hundreds of people that escaped of the gases lacrimógenos, what finally ocasionó the fall of a wall of the stadium.

Tens of injured, of which some are bass, have been hospitalizados in the Senegalese capital. The Senegalese official agency had informed previously of eight dead persons and 49 injured.
