Rio Ferdinand has affirmed that Erik Have Hag, technician of the Manchester United, "has reason when seating to Cristiano Ronaldo", but thinks that the forward finally will recover his place. Ronaldo, the one who returned to the United in 2021 after 12 years in the Real Madrid and the Juventus, has not been headline in the last four parties of the Premier League of the club.

The five winning times of the Balloon of Gold has seen forced to exert his paper from the bench, with the exdefensor English affirming that Have Hag did the correct with Ronaldo until the moment. But Ferdinand estimates that his ex mate of team in the United, will reestablish like titling, together with his excompañero in the Madrid, Casemiro. "It will be fucked for him, will not be happy", said Ferdinand in an interview for 'Mirror'.

"You can not do what he has done during this period of time and be happy and happy to be in the bench, or not being receiving the numbers that want to obtain. But it will be professional, will be concentrated, because it will know that it goes to arrive his moment. It has not had a pre-season, so I understand why is not playing, and Marcus Rashford is annotating and assisting goals in this moment, so I understand why remains in the team", affirmed Ferdinand.

The now television analyst also added that "the team is the paramount factor in this moment. The form in that the United began the season has done that the technician was ensuring that the team was doing the correct things and forget of the external". On the Brazilian pivote, Ferdinand thought that "obviously that Casemiro is a big signing, but is not playing. Ronaldo is not playing, but his moment will arrive. And when it arrive his moment, think that both will remain in the team. I think that that will be the case and the trainer will keep it like this".

Recognising his maturity

Ferdinand, the one who won six titles of the Premier League and a League of Champions in the United, explained also that Ronaldo evolved of a "showman" to a player that knows the value to deliver a final product. "Ronaldo that the people has seen the last four, five or six years is not Ronaldo that arrived to the United", added Ferdinand. "It was a showman. The people came to the stadium saying: 'I Have come to see to Ronaldo raise me of my seat today'. Like this it was in that moment.
