Riqui Puig, one of the talents gone out of the inferior categories of the FC Barcelona, has appeared in front of the media in the 'Half Day' of the MLS of face to the next season that will start on 25 February. Further of his first campaign in North American floor, was asked after his point of view about the possible signing of Lionel Messi in summer.
"On Leo, the truth is that I do not have neither idea, do not have contact with him. But if it came to the MLS would be impressive. This league would do even more big of what is and of what can be. Now that goes to come the World-wide inside four years, this can be one of the main factors so that they avenge a lot of players here. If it wants to come, it will be more than welcome", aimed the midfield player.
Also it left on the table his expectations for the beginning of his first natural campaign with the group angelino. "I am very happy to begin a season from the beginning, have many win. Now already I am adapted to the city and to the league and think that have an equipazo to be able to win the MLS", sentenced Riqui.
On the same line, it mentioned the defeat in 'playoffs' in front of the LAFC, team that later consecrated champion. "Now that I already have seen how it goes the league, how are the teams and how is my team and how play, think that are a much more dangerous team. Win the MLS is due to small details. I think that the party of the LAFC escaped us by details because we were upper to them", affirmed.
Appearances to improve
After his 3 goals and 5 assistances in the 12 parties that has contested, admitted that there are several points that have to attend in the plantel. "One of the things that have to improve is that if we mark three goals in a party no can us escape. Here sometimes it costs more than they do not put you goals that put them. How it would do it? I think that we have to defend more with the balloon, have long possessions... Like this we can attack better and, especially, defend better", concluded.
