The Superliga has gone back to take strength. The relaunching has like visible head to Bernd Reichart, new CEO of the company To22, the one who is behind the project and whose announcement this Tuesday has left a new panorama. The new boss of the Superliga, ancient general director of the RTL in Germany, comes with the intention to find a dialogue with all the parts of the industry to optimise a model of business that, according to the managers, goes against the laws of the free competition.
"The presidents of the Real Madrid CF, of the FC Barcelona and the one of the Juventus FC have exposed recently his points of view on the problems to which confronts this sport. I think that they do the correct questions and, personally, would want to listen a lot of and diverse voices so that the community of the European football can find jointly the suitable answers", said in his first words.
Already in an interview in the 'Financial Times', went further and gave details of what expects that it can be his mandate like new leader of the project and besides put date for a possible start of the competition: "The season 24/25? It is reasonable...", it said. Also in this course the UEFA has foreseen to launch his renewed Champions League, with more teams and a new format.
In both estamentos, UEFA and Superliga, are slopes of what the Court of Luxembourg can determine with regard to the litigio that the two keep. On 15 December the General Lawyer will give a first verdict that can esclarecer a lot of things, although it will not be definite. "I create in an active dialogue and extended to create a sustainable sportive model for the European football.
